Android QWERTY smartphones are rare to find, but apparently not prepared to die for the moment. The Samsung B5330 leaked just shows that at least one manufacturer has some confidence in this form factor.

Filtering of certain documents of the certification of China, the B5330 is Samsung's attempt in creating an affordable candybar QWERTY device with Android. And not just any Android, we're talking about ice cream sandwich 4.0.4 here.

Other details are scarce at the moment, but we do know that you have 3G support and a QVGA screen (320x240 pixels) resolution. Thanks to another flight - the scorecard B5330 GL reference, we also know that the smartphone will be powered by a 850MHz CPU.

No word on price or availability of the smartphone at this stage.

It seems that Samsung is trying to connect devices and low midrange Android OS 4.0 to work. The GT-B5330 seems one of the first Samsung phone to be at an affordable price to run Android 4.0. While the certification of China does not reveal much, except the physical QWERTY keyboard phone, 3G support and a screen resolution of 320 × 240 pixels (QVGA) is the GL benchmark test that the phone operating system supports reports. The phone runs on Android 4.0.4 and has a CPU with a maximum frequency of 850MHz..
